Burchfield Penney Art Center Announces "A Musical Feast" as
Ensemble-in-Residence The Burchfield Penney Art Center at Buffalo State College is pleased to announce the second season of "A Musical
Feast" as the museum's Ensemble-in-Residence.The concerts are simulcast into the reception area to accommodate the large enthusiastic crowd. Founded in 2006 by retired Concert Master of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra Charles Haupt, A Musical Feast
ventures to fuse contemporary and classical music with poetry, dance, featuring musicians of international stature as well as local players. The events have been highly successful and are described as on the edge. Review 2009:" By making that space available to this top-notch, risk-taking organization, the Center does both its patrons and the musical community-at-large a mutually beneficial service."
Mr. Haupt left the BPO after 37 years of distinguished service. In addition to the BPO, Mr. Haupt was Concert Master of the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra at
Lincoln Center in New York City for 21 years and is currently on the faculty of the Eastman School of Music. Following the success of Remembering Lucas Foss
